That's pretty weak. Did anybody see the guys on ESPN getting all high-and-mighty about when its appropriate to rush the court last Saturday? Did these guys forget that sports is still supposed to be about everybody having fun?
Does the Big 12 have anything like this. I remember way way way back in the day when we used to upset highly ranked teams, the per mar security guys would line the court so no one could run on to it. Didn't know if it was University policy or Big 12 policy. I'm guessing University/Hilton policy because we rush the field all the time in football.

The University's standpoint on rushing the court is the continued employment of Coach McDermott. As long as he is here, they wont have to worry about it .
$25,000 fine for the fans storming the court after knocking off number 1? A little harsh IMO.
Agree. $25k is a serious fine.
I don't think I recall ISU ever rushing the court. Has it ever happened?
Now with the students located in CycloneAlley instead of dispersed throughout the crowd, I would assume the chances are much greater that a big upset could cause this to happen.
I saw in an article on Yahoo Sports that people were trying to hand the AD money to pay the fine for rushing the court. The AD said in the article not to worry about, they would take care of it.
