Watching a Div II basketball game right now against Whitworth and Willamette. In the first half, Whitworth scored like 37 points and only 2 baskets were 2 pointers, everything else was 3's.
The other thing I have to question is how can a Div II team get televised, yet ISU struggles to get on Tv. Anyway, I though that was wild. Whitworth didn't make their first 2 until the 7 min mark. As a TwisterSister fan, I was impressed.
Sounds a little bit like the Run and Gun style like Grinnell College uses. Fun as hell to watch, especially when they are on fire. Teams like that can be down by 20 and be up by 20 within 5 minutes of play.
Ha! The refs just came over to the TV announcers because they don't have replay set up in house. You could hear the announcers and the refs talking about the play while watching the same replay on your screen as what the refs where seeing.
why are we not on, easy we SUCK. just the truth and out side of us no one cares. Winning cures all.
I'm fairly sure we are better than Whitworth. My point was more along the lines, why can't local channels pick up games if they are not on national tv. If local channels can air Div II teams, they can air Div I teams. If national tv doesn't want it, why can't they allow local channels to air them.
