Dan had not shot. I mean why would this kid stay in the warm state of Florida and play for a possible National Title every year when he could come to the state of Iowa. Be away from his family and finish in the upper half of the big North possibly every year.

I'm lost by your post. That kid is from MN and Mac was recruiting this year for Florida.
I think Macs greatest attribute was his recruiting. I knew a guy that was highly recruited around the big 12, his dad wanted him to go to a certain school soooo badly. One day he called his son and asked what are you doing. His son replied "driving up to Ames" to see coach. His dad freaked out and begged him to turn around because as he said, "once you step into the white room with Mac, it's alllllll over". Needless to say he signed w/ ISU after pretty much being a sure thing with the other school.
They must be expecting some serious February thaw - flooding and all!
Seriously, good to see Coach Dan out on the recruiting trail.
Looking at those calves, it looks like Danny Mac has been climbing Camelback.
