    UNI to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated

    Or at least, thats what the word on the street is.

    Lots of pub for the Panthers this week. Coach Jake was on Jim Rome. Ali was on Dan Patrick and Scot Van Pelt. On Sportscenter and First Take as well.

    yep UNI's run is done now
    Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

    ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Sounds like there is a jinx for roughly 37.2% of the time from being on the SI cover.
    Even so, its something that you don't want to mess around with.

    Getting on the Rome show is major plus. Often teams that do interviews on Rome's show do well because the quote "jungle karma"
