Worst Final Four Ever

I'm a big sports fan, and love this final four, 2 five seeds, a #2, and a #1 seed. I like the parity in basketball, and love seeing the upsets.

It's funny, I assumed my bracket was shot (as I picked KU to win it all) and I checked it today, and lo and behold I'm running away with it, thanks to my Duke and WVU picks.

I thought the same thing until i realized that everyone else probably had KU too. And they did.

I'm all over this Final 4. Butler playing in their home city, Duke the only #1 seed, WV without their pt guard, even though their backup looked pretty damn good last night, and State. State with maybe the best coach in the game, best player out, and one game away from playing for it all the 2nd yr in a row, with no where near the best team in the tourney. I love this game!

How can there be upsets if there is parity?

At this point, Butler would be the only reason I would watch. Well, and maybe West Virginia.......I can't stand the thought of Duke or Michigan St. being the champs.

If Iowa State ever makes the Final 4, I hope there aren't people around the country with this attitude.

I love it: Butler - 1st time ever. WVA - since 1959! I hate predictability (like UConn women)\

This is going to be an awesome F4 and I'm watching every minute.

So Duke being there AGAIN and Michigan St. being there AGAIN makes it awesome or just the new blood for the refs to cheat out of a win is awesome?

I'm really looking forward to it. Butler is a great story, and the crowd will be intense for them in Indianapolis. West Virginia is a very physical team, and they're fun to watch. Michigan State is extremely well coached, and it's really impressive what they've been able to do without Lucas. Duke hasn't been there in a while, and I like Coach K.

Can't wait to watch.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this isn't the worst Final Four ever - 2000's was worse: Michigan St (1), Florida (5), Wisconsin (8), and North Carolina (8) by definition is worse. Not to mention the fact that we should have been there instead of Michigan St...

Agreed. The way Michigan St manhandled that Final Four was the most depressing.

With the way the tournament has played out none of the three games should be a slouch. All four of these teams have played quality slug it out games in the tournament and now you hope they can do it again.

There have been two Final Fours without a #1 seed:

2006: 2, 3, 4, 11
1980: 2, 5, 6, 8 (one semi was 6 vs 8)
