I saw that on Sportcenter last night. Awesome. I love how the opposing team tries to argue, but it's clear that nobody touched him. Great stuff.
I don't think it was that clear. Looking at the still shots, it almost looks like the glove could be touching. But, in the replays, it's pretty clear that he raises his elbow and not his glove to touch the player. Hard to see that from the dugout, though. Cool dive...

I don't know, you can pretty clearly see daylight between the two players for the entire dive. Doesn't appear that he got within about 6 inches of touching him. And, the ump was very quick to call him safe. There wasn't much to argue with, imho.

My son did something almost identical to that in little league once, going up and over the catcher. He was safe but I think he got a little butt chewing from the coach for not sliding the typical way.
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
