Would not surprise me at all. I think part of the reason he chose UNI was because Greg had no job security here. Now he has that at Creighton and it's a level Doug can succeed at. With Jacobsen being Mac's friend I would also expect that he would be understanding of the situation and let Greg go with no hard feelings.

MVC rules state that players transfering within the conference have to sit out two years. I'm not sure if this technically counts as a transfer as he hasn't enrolled yet.

I doubt this is true as well.

But, it could work to UNI's favor if they really weren't all the high on Doug in the first place. Have to think after this past NCAA run their recruiting has picked up considerably.

Children of Creighton employees get free tuition at Creighton. I do think that you have to be there for X amount of time before this benefit is offered though.
