There were a couple of good articles in the Omaha World Herald today about GMac. From reading the paper in Omaha this weekend they are pretty happy with the selection of McDermott, putting much of the blame on his lack of success at ISU at the player defections, and that is the players fault not his (what a joke).

Hey, it sounds like the same hope we had for him 4 years ago, except he was coming from a successful program. If he pans out, good for him, he just wasn't cut for coaching in a big conference.
Anyways, GMac is old news, let's move on.
I only read the first story and, to me, it basically sounded like he was lost at the high major level with the type of kids that you have to deal with. Nothing new, I guess.
That first article kind of pisses me off with the blaming of the players and not himself.
