I'm just trying to get a head start on every school that's guessed. A surprise school that wouldn't be Nebraska, to me, would probably be Kansas. Especially if it fits geographically.

From what I understand, Kansas can't be in a different conference than Kansas State... anyways thats what has been said on here so take that with a grain of salt.
Another thing is if you read the Hawkeyenation thread, they mention GaTech and BC which doesn't really make sense.

Re: From HN
KU and Oklahoma State both have in state sister schools which they will not be separated from.

It's gotta be baylor.
The zombie of Anne Richards rose from the grave and forced them onto the Big X

So seriously, if there is a surprise school and the other poster in that thread is right and it will make "geographical sense", it has to be ISU, right? -

Tech makes no sense to me unless they are spending too little on travel. Now if there are some SEC schools in that direction also then it makes more sense but I would think there are better options

Fine, I will say it, it is most definitely US. -

I always thought of Anne Richards as more of a vampire than a zombie.

Re: From HN
Think about this scenario.
At the press conference following a Big 10 expansion that included Nebraska and Missouri but not ISU the folowing conversation takes place:
Reporter #1, "Mr Delany, the Big 10 is a academic institution first and foremost, correct?"
Delany, "Correct"
Reporter #2, "How do you explain adding Missouri and Nebraska then when Iowa State is cleary a stronger academic university than either of them?"
Delany, "Um, well, did you see that the Big Ten Network's ratings went up a point?!?!"
