Question regarding Nebraska media

This is under the very unlikely assumption that at least 6 schools remain in the Big 12 to keep the conference viable -

If the Big 12 remains, would they own the rights to Nebraska's old games? or are those property of the University? I really hope to stick it one last time to Nebraska if they can't bring those classics to be replayed on the Big 10 network. Additionally, wouldn't it generate a sense of Nebraska not being able to carry their weight if they would only be able to replay games from the 2011 season and on?

The Big 10 Network needs content to play during the times live sports aren't on. Wouldn't it be beneficial to the network if they can get their hands on those old NU games to introduce their viewers to the newest addition of the Big 10? And, because the Big 12 owns the rights to those games, wouldn't it limit Nebraska from using those highlight tapes to show to recruits?

If the Big 12 does own Nebraska's old game footage - I recommend a slash and burn to all NU tapes and dvds go on this weekend to clean the wickedness and greed associated with college football, before the conference becomes defunct...

Nebraska did talk about signing over media rights to the B10 Network during the presser today. Since we don't have a network I'd guess that each institution has rights to it's own media for internal usage with the exception to initial broadcasting rights on the day of competition.

I doubt rebroadcasting on the B10 Network would be allowed.
