    Bobby Johnson resigns as Vanderbilt's FB coach

    Wow, pretty strange time for the guy to retire. Imagine trying to replace the head coach a month before fall practice starts.

    Still, Johnson always seemed like a decent guy. Terrible record at Vanderbilt, but he did get them to a bowl game two years ago.

    Very strange indeed...at the press conference he indicated there were no "health problems" (physical I assume) for he or his wife, and that he is walking away coaching altogehter.
