I believe that Loras College in Dubuque is the only college/university to offer sports management in the state of Iowa.

Re: Does ISU still offer Sport Management?
I chose sport management cause it was the only thing I was interested in.(started in Finance). I wanted Criminal Justice, but they only offered it as a minor at the time.

My bad, guess I was wrong.

Re: Does ISU still offer Sport Management?
Just got the degree in the spring, so still searching some options. My cousin had the same degree at a community college and landed a head operation of ticket sales with the Arkansas Naturals baseball team back in 06.

Re: Does ISU still offer Sport Management?
ISU offers Health and Fitness MGMT, which is probably about the same as Sports MGMT. At ISU, it used to be called Exercise Science, but I believe they changed it a few years ago to health and fitness mgmt. All three are about the same and can get you pretty much all the same types of jobs.
Pretty much anything in Kinesiology and Health major will yield the same types of jobs, except Athletic Training and Pre Physical Therapy. Those two will lead you into the field as what they are called. I might be missing some K & H options, though.

There is still an Exercise Science option...also Community and Public Health, and PhysEd.

Originally Posted by isulive2train There is still an Exercise Science option...also Community and Public Health, and PhysEd. Is there really? When I was there they took it away and combined it with the Health and Fitness mgmt option, maybe they brought it back within the last couple of years? Or, maybe I'm just completely wrong and showed up to all of my advisor visits drunk or hungover...
EDIT: Oh wow, I just went and looked at the options for Kinesiology and Health and they definitely added about 4 Exercise Science options within the last couple of years... I'd imagine combining Exercise Science and Health and Fitness MGMT was just way too broad.
