Need Help Finding ISU Jacket w/out "I-State logo

I need some help finding some ISU apparel for the wife. She doesn't like the I-State logo and won't wear anything with that logo. That said, she wants a jacket, size large. This is the one she originally wanted:

The problem is that it is only available in medium and X-Large. I've scoured the interwebs to no avail. If someone knows where I could pick up a size large for this jacket it would be much appreciated. It doesn't have to be the one pictured but it can't have the "I-State" logo.

I would guess Dogtown or TGalaxy would have something with the walking Cy or the words similar to that.

I'm a big walking cy fan myself and I have no problem finding plenty to choose from between the two when I'm in Ames.

Gordman's has jackets like that. I have a yellow version of that pullover.

I have now heard it all. An Iowa State fan who refuses to wear something with the ISU logo on it. Sometimes our fans will find just about any way possible to be difficult.

I agree with the OP's wife. Not a fan of the I-State logo, and would rather wear the old twirly bird.

Yeah, some people need to get over it. I love the logo myself. I get everything I can find with the new logo. Let me guess. She liked the previous logo that had blue it in?

That exact jacket is at Gordmans in Coralville for $25. I was debating on buying it last weekend, actually. So, if you're coming to this side of the state anytime soon...

I'm not a huge fan of the new logo or the whirley bird - I like the older logos for a retro look.

I'm not sure why you'd chide someone for not liking a certain logo, I'm guessing from your post you disliked the whirleybird and didn't buy much of that, why jump on someone for doing bascially the same thing?

I personally like it. She likes almost all of the countless previous ISU logos/Cy's but just doesn't like this one:

Where ever I find it, I'll have to buy it online since I live in North Carolina - far away from any store that would carry ISU gear. Also, I do like the logo but I see first hand on a routine basis people having a hard time figuring out what university this logo belongs to. That's not saying I don't like it.

Tell her to start liking the logo. Seriously. It ain't going anywhere. I hope they don't make jackets without it.

You must run into some really uneducated individuals then. I was playing golf in AL, the bastion of knowledge that it is, last summer and was playing with some strangers while wearing a new I-State hat. He is an Alabama fan and asked if I went to Iowa State. I was impressed.

Yeah pretty sure we have been getting pretty good publicity with this new logo with upsets showing up on SportsCenter and College Football Live the last two years, along with a couple of CPR's post-game speeches.. It is becoming the one recognizable logo that we have wanted for a while.. Not sure why people have the hate for it.. I'm not saying it's wrong to want some gear with the old logo's on it (I really like the old walking Cy logo myself). But to outright refuse to wear anything with the I-State logo seems like a little much

I agree. I'm just trying to find an X-mas gift she wants. I personally have the I-state logo on the front license plate of my car, on several hoodies and shirts, etc.
