Hard to believe it's been eight years since he passed (3/5/2003). These calls are from ten years ago and they still send chills up my back.

Pete was unabashedly a Clone.....great passion, great wit, great guy. His only blemish was he graduated from iowa. It was never just a job with Pete....he loved ISU. Impossible act to follow.

1. Pete's call of Billups' punt return for a touchdown is my all time favorite
2. Eustachy's words after Pete's death leave a lump in my throat
3. I've never heard a more sincere passion from any play by play guy than Pete
4. He will always be the voice of the Cyclones to me
