How would you rank your support for ISU?
Since the sport season's are winding down, how would you rank yourself/family as fans.
This is a fun thread, so please no bashing others just put your ranking and why you think you are in that standing.
Here's mine:
I am going to say that my small family, just wife and I, are supporters. We buy season football tickets. We do not buy season tickets to the other sports, but do attend some of the games that we can as well as events other than sports. We buy plenty of ISU apparel and other items. Oh and we both graduate from ISU which we donated plenty of money for our degrees. Cyclone Sports: The next best thing since MOTHER'S MILK! -
Re: How would you rank your support for ISU?
I would say you're a diehard. You're a member of this site and your signature tell me you're a diehard. But, I guess that's my definition.
Anyways, I get season tickets to football and basketball. I would consider myself a diehard.

Who on here wouldn't consider themselves a diehard? "Oh I'm just a casual fan...sure I'll join Cyclone FANATIC." C'mon Man..

There are already 8 that selected non-diehard options. Don't forget there are trolls, people who are openly hawkfans, and some who apparently only come here to post strange and unusual news stories.

Re: How would you rank your support for ISU?
I like to consider myself and my wife as die hard fans. We don't make a ton of money, so we don't have the ability to donate like I would want to, but we've bought season tickets for football for the past 7 years (I'm 31). We don't get season tickets but do go to basketball games probably 6-8 times a year and we certainly buy plenty of ISU gear.
If we ever start making a more comfortable combined income, we'll start donating more, but I don't think that changes my status as a die hard for now, though.

I selected supporter. We are NCC members, and have had season football tickets since a few years after graduation. We do not get tickets to any other sports, and I will never ever ever donate money to ISU directly.

Re: How would you rank your support for ISU?
I voted that I was a die hard based on other peoples definition but other than belonging to this site I don't think I'm a fanatic. My wife, I and another couple have had season tickets since our freshman year - hate to admit it but that was 32 years ago. We only make it to about 1 basketball game a year - mostly due to the distance we live from Ames. We buy alot of ISU stuff. Both of our sons are currently attending ISU. I guess I might be a diehard after some of the football seasons we've had and we continue to get season tickets.

Re: How would you rank your support for ISU?
For my effort: Die Hard - I am a gamewatch coordinator, and I follow the cyclones as closely as I can being 1,200 miles away.
For my $: Casual - but maybe die hard since I'm a poor, destitute grad student with no money to donate. I'm a member of the ISUAA, but I plan to join the booster club before the football season though.

Why? Did ISU wrong you in some way?

Re: How would you rank your support for ISU?
I know people have made this point already, but if you care enough to post here... you're probably a diehard fan.

Re: How would you rank your support for ISU?
I would like to consider myself as a die hard also. I like to think that breaking the armrest to my recliner and yelling at the TV multiple times qualify me. I would like to donate money and get season tickets to football and basketball, but living about 6 hours away prevents me from doing that easily.

Re: How would you rank your support for ISU?
Only go to one football and one bball game per year because of being 4 hours away but my closet is full of ISU gear and i have ISU stuff all over my car. watch every single game and every game i cant watch, i listen to on the radio and i get really into the games, so id consider myself a diehard
