So it looks like the assembled the east side support completely, and then they'll put it into position all at once. Is that right?
Is that the east side support on the ground or what will eventually go between the two towers? Looks like itd fit on top, and if it were set on its end itd have a much bigger base than the tower on the west side.

My thoughts exactly. With the way they have the things laid on the ground, I'm guessing that's the crossbar.
I'd bet good money that's the bottom part (most likely bottom 1/3) of the crossbar. If it were the east tower they wouldn't have put it all the way on the west side of the endzone. It's already longer than the west tower and its more of a square shape vs a rectangle.
What's impressive is that the video board is 36' tall and that frame running across the endzone is probably only 12-14' feet tall at the most. So that frame is going to trip in height.
I think the east tower is going to be some of the last shop assembled pieces to arrive. I think the east tower would block the big sections from coming down into the endzone if they were to put it up now.

It has to be the east tower. Look at the renderings they released in April and see how tall the east and west towers are compared to what is now standing on the west side. They look to be about twice as tall as the west structure so far.
The bar laid out in front looks like it will be the meat of the crossbar(could be wrong). It will end up being covered by the board (again could be wrong). But this is were they are at in the project.
What you also don't see is name of the crane is "Tron Crane Service". Inside of that crane is none other than...TRON SMITH! He's inside the crane raising the steel structure by himself...he's all over the project from pulling skid-loaders out of holes to raising the steel himself. CRAZY

BS. The real Tron would just hold it up with one arm and weld it together with the other.
If you look how they have the camera oriented now, on the Western half of the structure lying behind the goalpost it looks as if they have the catwalk inside the structure. You can see the handrails on the front and half the way back of the structure.

And look at the end of the west side. It looks (eyeballing) like it sits on the top of the support on the west side already.
What you see south of the Jake is the horizontal section of the truss. It will come in 6 pieces: three across the bottom and three across the top. The middle section will be stick built in between the two on the ground. The east tower will go up once all the parts for the horizontal are brought in. The tower would block access to the south side of the Jake and prevent sections from being moved in.
