So I am thinking about going to the Tailgate Tour stop tonight in Okoboji. What should I expect? Is there food to eat? Do the coaches get up and talk in front of everyone? Should I get there right at the start? I don't have any kids so those kind of activities don't really interest me. Thanks in advance.
I highly recommend the Tailgate Tour. Me and my brother always go to the Waterloo stop and it's a lot of fun. There is food, but I've never gotten any. I believe it is typical tailgate food - burgers, brats, hotdogs (stuff like that) and beer.
They have merchandise available to purchase and coaches and players are around to talk to. The coaches and John Walters give a short presentation which is always fun to listen to. Plenty of photo and autograph options and you can win a lot of prizes. My bro won tickets to the ISU / Iowa football game!
Slap on some Cyclone gear, bring a camera, pick up a football poster and have a great time!

Arrive when it starts and leave when it ends. Yes, there is food and drink.
The tour stopped by to visit my Aunt and Uncle at their company on their way to Carroll. They have pictures with Coach Rhoads, Pollard and Coach Jackson. They, for some reason, decided not to let me know that this was going to happen. I will be giving them an ear full.
