I almost cried when Floyd left for the Bulls. He had ISU playing at a level, especially on defense, we have never seen before or since. Sure Coach E took a loaded team to the Elite 8, but Floyd was working with a bunch of midwestern kids and got them to play together, believe in each other, and just plain played basketball. He's a great choice. Had he chosen to stay at ISU he may have taken us to heights never known.

I will agree that Floyd had us playing defense like we had never seen before. Hell I don't think Orr even coached defense. But working with a bunch of midwestern kids? His best players were from CA, LA, GA, MS, New Zealand, etc.

I guess it all goes down to the fact that he was only here for 4 years and he had a foot out the door for 3 of those years. I just figured it would be more difficult criteria to be in the Hall of Fame

Actual Letterwinners, nominate and elect...............just as it should be. If 85' wants his own HOF, he should start one.
