Steven Leath to be next president of Iowa State University
Official per the DM Register.
I know this story has been broken but wanted to get his name on the main page, as he is the main man for ISU in the near future.
Congratulations Dr. Leath!

Congratulations Dr. Leath! So is he a good fit? Pro-Athletics?

He made a special mention of the importance of being in a BCS AQ conference and how much we needed to maintain that status.

He better hope the big 12 stays together. If not the ability to reach his goals will be much more difficult.

Re: Steven Leath to be next president of Iowa State University
He is already "Proud"!!!! "I'm excited to be your new president," said Leath. "I'm proud to be a cyclone."
“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads -

He's going to have a hell of a first game to attend this weekend.
Again, congrats to both candidates, but especially to Steven Leath for becoming the next president at Iowa State University.

I don't think we could have gone wrong with either one, they both sounded impressive with everything I read. We will know in 10 years if President Leath is as good as GG. If he is, then ISU will be in good shape.

He could possibly be better than GG.

Just saying, he's going to be a different person. Who's to say he wont be better than GG? Everyone keeps saying he might be as good but who's to say he won't be better?
