This is the first weekend all year where I have not been tailgating/working somewhere and have been able to sit down and watch college football all day. So I'm watching Michigan State at Nebraska and I can just not get over the fact that NU moved conferences. I do not understand how you can just walk away from Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas State, Mizzou, etc., all of which you have over 100 years of history and rivals. Watching this game is like watching a bowl game or a non-conference game that means nothing.
I guess this is something I'm just going to have to get used too, but I can not help feel that college football will forever be ruined for me. The old Big 12 and Big 10 is what I grew up with and I have no connection to these new conference moves, including TCU or WVU. This whole situation just stinks as I feel like my dog died or some wussy crap.
