When will we blame Pollard?
One good hire to date and that was Rhoads...
Most of his hires had bailed out on him or have failed so far except for Rhoads...

Re: When will we blame Pollard?
I don't know.......how long has he been here? I'd say about the first loss after that.

Re: When will we blame Pollard?
Why is there always blame? Sometimes **** doesn't go your way.

Re: When will we blame Pollard?
Wow. He's brought in two coaches that have won national championships after they left ISU. He brings in good coaches and makes good hires; it's not his fault ISU isn't a high profile job. Step off the ledge, this thread is ridiculous.
All I want to know is when are we going to start blaming cyclonefan1983?

This is 83's shtick, get used to it.

Chill out 1983, it's not the end of the world.

Fred Hoiberg will prove to be a good hire. Basketball is a work in progress and will take another couple of years to bear mature fruit.

Re: When will we blame Pollard?
STOP BLAMING POLLARD....
Start blaming a small fanbase with very limited financial resourses....
Jamie P can hire the best coaches in the world but, If you dont have the money for salary and facilities guess what....
These Coaches are gonna move on to greener aka money pastures.....
Remember boys and girls...
This is a career for these coaches and they going where the money will take them...

Re: When will we blame Pollard?
Step down off the ledge and get a grip. Pollard has done a great job for ISU and you'd be hard pressed to find somebody that would have done just as well, and wants to stay here.
Pollard has hired great coaches, some **** hasn't gone his way. Nothing works out perfectly. I find it amusing that some people just can't fathom why ISU is not dominate in every sport. Honestly, get a grip.

Re: When will we blame Pollard?
Yeah, Pollard needs to play better defense and hit his free throws!!!

Re: When will we blame Pollard?
I love the meltdowns after losses...it really exposes people.
What are you, 15 years old?

Sky is falling? Ok, run and hide.

He'll get snapped up/bail out on us pretty quickly here, and then we'll be down in the toilet in everything again. And how could Pollard let Geoffrey just up and leave? He's a terrible AD, and I think we need to forcibly eject him from this job. I think I have Bruce Van Develde's and Martin Jishke's contact information around here somewhere, so we can get them back ASAP.
