Ames BWW...Thank you!!

I talked to the Manager of the Ames Buffalo Wild Wings, and they changed the policy that allowed a few of their Hawk fans to wear Iowa garb. They will stick with BWW shirts company wide, and he is encouraging the Cyclone fans to wear their colors in other ways. I want to thank them for their new policy and for being All In for Iowa State! Thanks BWW, Ames!

I say boycott them since they were stupid enough to allow it in the first place. Clearly they had no accurate view of their market.

I believe the manager who instituted the initial policy is gone. I say give them a chance.

Now if we could just get that policy passed of no visiting teams apparel worn inside JTS, the world would be perfect!

As much as I despise the Hawkeyes, as much as I don't like BWW for other reasons and even though this one is in Ames, I really don't like the idea of taking away a little bit of that game day atmosphere by not letting Hawk fan servers wear their garb. Are we really that immature that you can't stand the site of the tigerhawk? It's one thing if your server was being a ******** to you because you were a Cyclone fan, but seriously, you complained about this?

Now you've spoiled it for the employees who wanted to wear their Cyclone gear once in a hwile--and if the others were too dumb to realize they got worse tips in Hawk gear, that was their fault.
