A beat-down on the court as well as the field will make a perfect gift.
"And for WVU fans who start to miss home, a quick detour to the west leads to Boone, where any West Virginny hillbilly will feel more at home"
I see via the twitter that somebody told Ubbs that Applebees is a good place to watch a game? Has Ames fallen so fast since I've been gone?
Actually WV visitors would feel right at home anywhere between Fraser and Lehigh. There would be no language or cultural differences. Well, maybe WVians do not toss tennis shoes over tree limbs.
For those WVU fans that never had the chance, the new Ames Junior High may be a good starting point for their Tour de Ames.
I don't know of anywhere that serves roadkill in Ames that WVU fans could go to.
WVU and TCU fans, please ignore the denigrating posts being posted. I, and I'm sure most of Cyclone fans, welcome you to the Big XII and are excited about having two outstanding programs join our conference.

It's a fairly new place, but if you guys haven't tried it, Oddfellows Burger Kitchen (north of North Grand Mall) opened recently and is quite amazing.

I had this next one and it was amazing. It uses grilled cheese:

They also have a blue alcoholic drink that is served in a Mason Jar. When I turn 21, I'm trying it.
The burning streets of Welch Ave. during Veisha should pass as home for WVU.
