Clowns

Is being called a clown supposed to be offensive? I've always liked clowns. Just a thought when reading the valuable Hawkeye opinion on Anthony Young and "Saint Paul Woads." tm3308 gained some respect for his posts in that thread though the intelligence level was pretty low among posters and I'm not a HN member so he won't get the rep he deserves. I don't think you could offend a preschooler by calling them a clown.

The intelligence level was low in a topic on Hawkeye Nation about Iowa State. What else is new.

And I like clowns, too.

I come here and I get called a "hok". Is that supposed to be offensive? I don't even know what it means. So maybe that's why it's offensive.

Seems kind of G rated to me. Hok is the same G rating which is why I like to use the synonym for a male reproductive part.

More accurate. Not saying all were unintelligent, just the overall level got dragged down by the bottom end.
