I just wanted to give a shout out to all that showed up. They had to take down the conference room dividers to accommodate more attendees this year. Thats fantastic to see here. All of the coaches made it and everyone was loud and proud. Great things on the horizon for ISU. The growing pride is a good sign.
was there. was a great time. funny what pollard had to say about expansion. i did notice a db in the back completely garbed with hawkeye gear on. i wanted to call him out during the question and answer portion of the event but my wife said not to. guess i gave up wearing the pants after all.

Ever notice how the same two families with some swag every year? Coincidence?
You should have called him out. Surprised he didnt get ribbed by the coaches. As for the expansion part, well I dont know what to make of it. He acted like it probably wouldnt happen for awhile and not to get all excited about it. But on the other hand, its Jamie-speak.
That really surprises me. Lived in Sioux City most my life and its cluttered with Hawk fans.
I agree...I married a Sioux City Cyclone and whenever we go up there for visits and check out Scheels it's like finding a needle in a haystack to get some Cyclone Gear...all Hawk/Husker. I was there for Thanksgiving last year and wanted to go to a sports bar to watch that game to see those fan bases interact.

You know honestly, when Nebbie left the conference, my disdain for them lessened. I can sit and listen to them talk **** about Iowa all day. Its been a much easier city to live in these days. Hell, they got themselves an ally on gameday.
Man, you see it from the fans on here who have interacted at the various stops and stories like this continue to show what "brand" we are selling...and I truly believe these are the things that will help get more "tavern Cyclone" fans out there. :)

Yep, John mentioned they did that. Phenomenal respect shown there. Larry is a great guy.
It must be staged.. Not that I care... but a infant won the signed football at the Omaha stop last night! It was pretty cool.. CPR took the baby and held him up!! JW was like " Id vote for him for office"!!
But also I may be that family you are talking about... Last year I won Texas tickets and this year my mom won Tulsa tickets!!

If you are. I want to be adopted. If it will get me an edge for that signed basketball.
