Re: How ISU are you?
I've been to every home football game for the past 12 years (i'm 20) with my parents, brother, grandparents, 2 uncles and 1 aunt. I've been to 4 bowl games since 1999 and also various away games through the years. I've been following basketball since 1998 when I would watch all the games on TV (I hate Eduardo Najera). I've had student basketball tickets for the past 4 years. I get at least 2 articles of ISU clothing for every birthday and Christmas.
I'm a pretty big fan! -

Loyal son, forever true right here. That phrase has a deeper meaning for Cyclone Nation and what we have experienced,. Highs and lows.

Re: How ISU are you?
While half of my closet is filled with ISU clothes and an entire wall of my cubicle is covered with ISU stuff, I have my ISU diploma. That's as ISU as I need to be.
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

Re: How ISU are you?
How ISU are you? Simple:
A) You get a Season Ticket even though you live 5 hrs from Ames.
B) You Donate to the Cyclone Club.
C) You wear ISU clothes out in public, especially if it is in NON-ISU territory.

I am 4 out of 6 on these. Would be 5/6 but my wedding was actually same day as ISU vs Iowa FB game many years ago. Oops.

Green hills for thy throne
and for crown of golden melody
ringing in the hearts of all who bring thee
love and loyalty.
Dear alma mater
make our spirits great
true and valiant
like the bells of Iowa State.
The marching band sings this song before dismissal every game day win or lose. It can feel jubilant or tug on your heartstrings (especially after a tough defeat). I grew up a hawk, but saw the light. Thank you, Ames. Another loyal son here.

I graduated in 72, my wife in 73, one son in 03 and the other is there now. Been a season ticket holder in football and basketball for about 40 years and I've had pets named Cy, Tinsley and Kato.
