Same for me. I run three fantasy teams in each major sport and Clone games are 14 times better.Waiting for hockey to screw their heads back on. The Chiefs are turning me off for NFL. They need an OC.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Here are my picks in order:

    1. Cyclones - I am way more obsessed with the Iowa State than I used to be, I blame Cyclone Fanatic for this problem... and the Kool-aid...

    2. Fantasy Football - There is money riding on these players.... luckily I went with my gut and benched RGIII yesterday... that should definitely helped me to stay in the bottom third of my league...

    3. Vikings - Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Vikings fan, but I'm not getting my hopes up... this week, I had my hopes up thinking they would contain RGIII and save the weekend by winning and making me feel good about my fantasy football team. They did neither, and helped to make my weekend an 0-3 weekend.

So, what do you prefer, college, NFL, or Fantasy football win?

Nice topic. ususally you never get all 3 to happen. It always seems like when ISU wins my pro team loses and vice versa and fantsy is a toss up. If I pick one it's ISU

    For me this weekend
    1. Cyclones - Lost

    2. Fantasy I have 3 saints including Brees so with their bye week I was in trouble. My backup QB was Luck and Jets shut him down. I also had SF def and knew I should of found a replacement because Giants are a great off. team. I'm down 42 points with 3 players going tonight. Really sucks to lose this week because Jordy Nelson effort last night went for nothing.

    3. Denver - plays tonight, not very optimistic because we always play like **** on MNF. If we want to win the AFC west we have to beat San Diego tonight.

Especially when they post it on Cyclone Fanatic.

Never thought of that..... I'm thinking I would take the Cyclones and a NC.... good question, that's for the next thread.

It's funny how Fantasy Football gets me people to watch other teams. I'm a Vikings fan and will be rooting for Denver to smoke San Diego, why? Because I'm up 1 point on my opponent and he has Matthews and Gates playing tonight. I have Peyton Manning playing so need a lot of touchdowns for Denver and none for SD.... Crazy how that works.

Back in the day, I wouldn't even watch tonight's game, probably would have just watched a movie on VCR instead...

    Cyclone
    NFL - Browns
    Fantasy

We talk a lot of trash about fantasy but we all suck at it so it makes it enjoyable. We are becoming like "The League" though and getting a trophy for first and last.
    My teams: (as of 2/27/13)
    Cleveland Browns: 5-11 - .313
    Cleveland Indians: 68-94 - .421
    Cleveland Cavs: 19-38 - .333
    Iowa State Cyclones (FB): 6-7 - .462

    9/22/18 & 9/7/19
    Akron and Iowa State
    CAN'T WAIT!

I am 6-0 in my fantasy league (barring Matthews going off for 33 tonight). I would trade my 6-0 for 0-6 if it could get the Cyclones another win.

Son of a ....! I lost by a point because Phillips threw another interception! Had he gone down and scored, Peyton could have made one completion and I win. Instead, Peyton ends the game with a kneel and I lose by a point!

Good thing fantasy football is number two in my books...

    Go Clones! Poke the pokes!

    ISU
    Packers

    Fantasy

I will easily cheer against my fantasy players when they play the Packers.

Iowa State is the clear favorite for me. Grew up in Ames. Green Bay is a long way away compared to Iowa State. I also have multiple direct connections to ISU, and the Packers are basically just a team I picked as a kid. Love the Packers, but Iowa State Football and Men's Basketball come first. Packers are probably above ISU women's basketball... But fantasy is behind all of it. (Don't play for money, so it has minimal impact on anything besides bragging rights, and I have other things to brag about)

    1. College (love me some Clones)

    2. Fantasy (3-3), projected at the start of the season to go (0-14).

    3. NFL (Chiefs blow)

Re: College, NFL, or Fantasy Football?

I am shocked at the amount of people choosing fantasy over NFL.

    Mine is

    Clones

    Vikings

    Fantasy.

I guess if you are paying a ton of money for FFball I get it, but at $20 and $25 buy ins for me it is well below my two favorite football teams.

(And go figure I went 2-0 in fantasy and 0-2 in real life this week.)

Totally with you. I watched every minute of last monday's Texans Jets game because it had fantasy implications for me.

Re: College, NFL, or Fantasy Football?

Dropped to 1-5 this week in fantasy. Things are looking bleak.
I'm projected 88 pts with my full lineup next week.
My opponent is projected at 82 pts while missing a RB and a WR.
