The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -

“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.” -

LOL That and Obama didn't win as big as he did in 2008, so he's obviously a failure, and that the electoral college is bogus (an argument I don't remember them making when W lost the popular vote in 2000). Oh, FNC...

I get the feeling that there will be a lot of groaning the next 4 years. Whether that will just be republicans or all of America is yet to be determined.

I sure hope not; people groaned like hell during these past 4 years, and it hasn't done us a damned bit of good. I'll be optimistic and say that tonight forces us to truly put our differences aside, find common ground, and get some **** done for a change.

What evidence makes you think this will happen?

I imagine that the Obama administration would instruct his FBI and Justice Department not to use any resources investigate/prosecute people possessing small amounts of weed (if they even do anyways). He did something similar with the Defense of Marriage Act; when states started passing laws and constitutional amendments supporting marriage equality, Obama told the Justice Department not to bother defending DOMA anymore.

As to evidence suggesting that all of the ******** over the past 4 years hasn't done a damned bit of good for the country (Tea Party, Mitch McConnell, etc.), there's plenty.

I find it hard to believe that anyone votes for Obama in Iowa. What's going on with you guys?
