Announcement coming: "Cyclones.TV is the real deal"

So maybe ISU is buying WOI back? Put cyclones.tv on 5.3? Make 5.3 available to any satellite or cable service for a penny a household per month? Bring back The Magic Window and other classics for overnight programming?

So many questions...

This is what you pay now, give it a few years when the actual rates kick in... Mediacom is know for the good deal up front that runs out eventually. Good luck with that.

Don't know any details, but have heard from people in the know that this deal definitely does involve mediacom.

So let me get this straight. ISU created cyclones.tv to get away from Mediacom and because they thought they could do it better. So we could turn around and get back on Mediacom again? I'm confused how this is moving forward.

Safe bet is that it's a deal with Mediacom. Probably just a tweak of the same deal they had in the past.

With Mediacom you cut out 1/3 of the states population and outlaying areas.

If it is a deal with Mediacom, I won't be signing up again next year.

You mean with Mediacom, you add 2/3 of the states population. Right now ISU MBB is on only Cyclones.TV, correct?

If it is mediacom, anyone want to put odds on the chance they'll end up pointing a 20 year old video camera at a laptop running cyclones.tv, then passing it through a blur filter to meet the quality standards of channel 22 broadcasts?

As of a couple months ago they were working with Mediacom on a deal to get Cyclones.tv in the normal distribution for Mediacom customers. Obviously it may have fallen through since then but I know they were working with Mediacom on it and Mediacom was willing to give us a little moolah for it as the advertising space was an easy sell.

Previously, we weren't getting a dime from Mediacom for basketball games so there's why it's a different story.

They'd also discussed sending out the feed over the air.

When you say over the air, you mean having local stations pick-up the cyclones.tv games, right?
