Ronnie Bass was our number one choice, athletic in the pocket, makes all the throws, comes from a military family, but he is an actual person, so like Randal Floyd and Johnny Utah he had to be removed.

Johnny Utah, and it's not even debatable.

Falco is safe and Paul Blake could maybe win some games with a good D and solid running game. But it might depend on the owner/gm/head coach combo. Do they want a flashy guy that might make some errors (Beemen, Kane) or do they go safe with maybe a thinking man like Moxon, or go straight "game manager" with Blake or Falco.
I should have added the caveat that you have to bring in Gene Hackman to coach if you go with Falco.

Plus, he could throw it a mile, but he couldn't pitch it three yards.

even Matt Sarosen would fall into this convo as a safe smart guy pick, but i don't think he can throw the 15 yard out across the hashes, plus he went to art school for Christs sake. Jason Street would be my number one choice in murderball.

If we're going FNL I think you've got to take Vince Howard number one. Street would be like my #3 choice after Saracen, but before JD McCoy and Voodoo Tatum.

I think if you are running the straight spread JD McCoy moves up the list, but the zone read I would agree with you.

Saracen is an obvious late round back-up pick in a imaginary football players team draft.

JD's too much of a locker room cancer for me. Do you really want to build your team around a poor man's Jay Cutler?
