Future Shock

I just noticed a commercial for a concert by Rachel Hope, who was just at the high school here in the out of the way town I live in. She is based in Sioux Falls and I am sure the commercial was for the concert in Sioux Falls. I imagine they must set up the commercials for the location of the user. I think that is pretty bizarre, to be on a ISU website and get commercials for the area that I live in. That I am sure has been going on for awhile but I just noticed it now. I think I have noticed it on Cable tv also. The technological advancements which keep coming at us are sometimes mind-boggling. I haven't paid much attention for about 7-10 years because I have been so busy. What's next?

I have plenty of those ads, right now they are trying to sell me Fords, houses on loan, and lots of stuff that I don't need. I guess the system isn't foolproof.

I noticed that the add of this Christian singer, Rachel Hope, always comes on when I go to the politics and global warming page. Is there any reason for that? Are they trying to convert those political folk over there? What is the deal with that? You would think they would have adds to give to your local political party. Not that I am complaining.

So you think I should change it? I couldn't think of anything else, I am not a whiz with these things.

I was sitting at this concert that night at our high school gym, and I listened to Rachel, not particularly the kind of music I like, and I think it was her who offered me a tract afterwards. I said "no" I have seen 100 different tracts. I felt kind of bad about it, because I appreciated her showing up. Man, was she tall, she should have played basketball or volleyball. Then seeing her on this forum was kindof spooky. I am not superstitious!
