    Great read about Maurice Clarrett

    Funny part is when he said he got paid more to play college football than he does now playing for a low level pro team.

    Wow...very interesting to read. Glad to hear he's getting his life back in order. Sad thing is, he was caught taking impermissible benefits which derailed his life, but how many others never got caught...

    Yeah the words he uses makes me think he really learned his lesson. Sometimes people get out and say things and you know they are not true.

    Wow - I'm cynical enough to believe this happens at many and most D1 Schools, for the top athletes, including my Alma Mater.......

    But off the field, he was living a completely different life. "I took golf, fishing, and softball as classes," Clarett says. "Away from class, anything you can think of I did in my 13 months at Ohio State." Drugs and women were two of the things. Cars were another—he owned three of them

    Yikes, I never knew he was on his way to kill somebody when he got pulled over. I remember at the time his lawyer claiming he was paranoid and felt he needed that arsenal for defense purposes. Glad the officer was in the right spot at the right time.
