John Walters‏@JWcyclonestv WBB tonight subscribers can see UNI's feed of game on Cyclones.tv. Same goes for MBB vs. UMKC Wednesday. SD feed. Computers only. No I-Pads.

I am looking for reasoning as to why there is all these exclusions for IPAD's now... My family only has 1 computer in our home, and it is a Work computer that is owned by a company that blocks or wont allow us to download unauthorized programs to it..

I own a Ipad and my wife owns a tablet. I have bought the cyclones.tv and the PREMIUM APP for the IPAD and am getting the shaft on the last couple basketball games. I dont understand how someone who pays MORE gets less.

I run my Ipad off of my home network just like I would a laptop. I just dont get it. Sent cyclones.tv a email so we will see what they say.

You could probably get it to work on your wife's tablet through the browser. Not sure about iPad.

On my laptop I got a lovely violet death screen - along with screeching - twice while trying to watch the game! Anyone have that happen? Or have any solutions. It didn't happen last week during a game.

its a Asus Transformer... pretty sure it is flash compatable... hmm..

The Drake game (Mediacom), the UNI women's game (Panther Network) and the UMKC men's game (KSMO/UMKC) are all shared feeds, not in HD, not produced by Iowa State. ISU is at the mercy of the originator when it comes to encoding. I'm guessing that's why there's a difference for these road games.

So IPAD cant broadcast in SD? I still dont get it...

The feed provided to ISU from these other sources may not be able to be converted to a coding that is viewable on iPad.

I think it all boils down to ipads not supporting flash. You can thank Steve Jobs for that.

Get over it, nobody supports Flash anymore Android latest platform to drop Flash support, Abode itself stopped trying to get Flash Player to work on mobile platforms

No, most likely because the app in order to be efficient was built to deal with streams coming from one source in a single expected format and those outside streams don't fit that

So part of me is butt hurt.. but I dont know who it should be at... I guess I dont get it.. If my home is set up with a wireless router, wireless is wireless.. who cares if its a Ipad or a laptop... At the same time, I HAD to pay an extra $10 for the Cyclones.TV app but not getting nearly the content that people who didnt have to pay that are getting...

When I paid for the Cyclones.tv subscription, I wasn't expecting to get these games either. Video isn't just "video". There's a reason the app costs more. It costs ISU more money to produce their broadcasts in a way to be available to that app. These streams (not ISU owned or produced) are obviously not compatible.
