Re: JP kicked out of game at Gilbert?
"Mr. Pollard was at the BB game last night watching his son. He was very well behaved all night long. He did not ride the officials or make a spectacle of himself. Late in a close game there was a foul that had been called on a Gilbert player. The Gilbert fans did not agree with the call, but the situation was not out of control by any means.
During the timeout that was called during the free throws Mr. Pollard made a comment to the official who made the call. The official then came to me and asked me to have Mr. Pollard (he called him by name) leave the gym. I then asked Mr. Pollard if he would leave and he did. He apologized to me on the way out. There was no big scene and Mr. Pollard left without incident.
I was surprised when the official came to me and asked me to have him leave. I did not see anything that was overt or had been ongoing throughout the game from Mr. Pollard. This was the only comment Mr. Pollard made all night. The official said Mr. Pollard said to him, "that was a horrible call."
Jones also added that Pollard had called this morning to apologize again. Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating. -

“They're very, very hard to guard,” Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey said. “They're really good. And with Niang in the middle kind of wheeling and all those guys spreading you out, they're kind of a nightmare matchup. And they're men. They're really men.” -

Went out of his way to tell us last year we did a great job and the dad with him said they wished we did more of their games because freshman officials were terrible. The next week we did a game of theirs and he flipped me some crap at halftime after I called Thomas for travelling.
