Bad thing is this has already spread to USA today and other National news medias, I seriously doubt that they will follow up with the "IHSAA say sorry" it not as scandalous as the original story.
I'm not trying to be difficult, it comes naturally....

Agree, I saw it on Deadspin this morning. I doubt highly if a correction will ever make a news outlet, not enough "sensation" in corrections.

I'm officiating in Iowa City tonight. Gary Barta had best stay home.

Yeah, I'm not exactly going to the bank with one of Marty's "reports".

Not even if it came from his dentist? That guy has always been rock solid.

Are you thinking of Chris's Go Go's in Cambridge.

Not that I'd know anything about that...

I think a bunch of legislators got in trouble in the 70s or 80s at a strip club in Mingo?

There was a Big Earl's 3 for a little while, way back in the day. Place was very nasty. The best looking stripper had a scar running all the way down her chest and stomach, or so I heard anyway.

It was a bar called the back 40 I think and they had some strippers shipped in.

Reputations Easily Tarnish In Iowa Air - Chicago Tribune

I guess Mingo was just a bar with strippers, not a strip club. If only JP was a legislator, they would have been more hospitable.

^^oops, mdclone beat me to it!
