I saw that too.. It was disappointing because the entire show was basically a lip sync... They didn't even have a real DJ scratching... which I was expecting.

Less Than Jake was an awesome concert. How is it that the parking lot concert is consistently better than the VEISHEA concert?

Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...
... the winds of change ripple throughout the vast fields of corn surrounding the small college town of Ames.

The Gene Chizik era of football continues, and, with it, a renewed attitude of pride, determination, and success.

This is Cyclone Football.

I thought the same thing, they sounded awesome but the stage might as well have been a 6x6 riser at a bar instead of the massive structure they had... 3rd eye blind definately had the place rocking alot more....

I was at an Eve 6 concert last Wed at a local bar up here in Minnesota. I enjoyed it. Any free concert is a good concert.

I think so but I was getting kicked in the head catching crowd surfers all night so I don't really remember where I was.

I beleive that is the Freeman Concert. However I do agree it usually is just as good as the Veisha Concerts minus Saliva last year, that was pretty sick.

They can't do worse than Mike Jones or whoever came last year... I'm glad I went back to my apartment to drink with people insted of sticking around for a concert that everyone complained about the rest of the year...

Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!

If they just now booked a band its no wonder they got Eve 6! VEISHA is run by the student if those student arent on their game then you end up with the Eve 6's of the world.

Saliva was last year right were they good?

I was thinking that Eve 6 had a concert with Stroke 9 at one of the bars in Ames in the last 2-3 years. Does anybody remember this? Or was it a different band with Stroke 9?

Just heard from a friend who was on the group making the choice...they were going to get Trapt but they said Saliva was too "hardcore" last year and they wanted to tone it down. Lame.
