Didn't go into the aerospace business, however (tough time to get a job then unless you had a M.S., as I focused on aerodynamics). Whole career in the environmental field. Currently managing 10 engineers (8 mechanical, 2 chemical) at an air quality permitting regulatory agency. While not aerospace, the engineering background is a necessity.
