VEISHEA bands announced

There is no Big & Rich and no Flo-Rida. I don't really know of any of these bands but the following link shows the people that are performing.

VEISHEA 2008

You have to pay $5.00 to get into the event and only 7,000 tickets are going to be sold to ISU students, faculty, alumni, and staff only.

I think Blessed Union of Souls was around in the '90's? Maybe some stoner rock?

Yeah...something like that, I'm not too impressed with this years band list...I also think they had their budget cut by 25k i heard.

Blessid Union of Souls had A hit song in the 90's titled "she likes me for me." wow this line up does suck

Why are they moving the concerts way over there? What is going to be going on on central campus? And there won't be a show over by UDCC?

i wouldnt be upset if there was a boycott to this years concert, unless bobby valentino brings ludacris to sing pimpin all over the world

By only allowing students to go to this, that's just going to result in a lot of people staying away from the actual event and result in more partying and arrests. How many students are there that doesn't have a friend that are coming to town for Veishea? Awful idea. Hopefully there's not a riot.

You guys are totally ignoring the Battle of the Bands, which is usually better than the headlining acts anyway. I highly suggest checking out a band called The Blend, they're from Minneapolis, and they're pretty high quality.

So you have to buy a wrist band and then wear it to both Friday and Saturday? Is there going to be a free comedy act?
