Help Celebrate ISU's 150th Anniversary by launching vitural fireworks to the tune of the fight song... Happy 150th Birthday Iowa State!
It's kinda silly but rather entertaining if you have nothing going on (beats checking Webmail anyways)

What is NOT to like about that web-page. You got your basic fireworks, The Campanile and the Iowa State Fight Song.
Throw in a good old fashion wood-shed beating of Iowa, and you got something approaching nirvana, right there....

Interesting. You think they could've gotten the current fight song medley though! They've got Rise Sons (I think that's what it is) but not For I, For S? Odd.

As an interesting story, back in the early 1980s, a friend and I did this "for real" with an Estes "X-Ray" rocket full of black powder with a primer on the tip, a length of PVC pipe and a battery-powered igniter unit against the SW face of the Design Building.
It made a terrific boom, and left a mark. I'm pretty sure the statute of limitations is up on that....
