EQUIPMENT SALE AT VEISHEA VILLAGE
The Iowa State Athletics Department will host a sale of ISU gear at the VEISHEA Village next Saturday (April 12th) from noon to 4:30 p.m. on central campus. Among the items for purchase will be old football jerseys and helmets along with other athletic apparel. At an adjacent tent in the VEISHEA Village, members of the Iowa State football and men's & women's basketball teams will be signing autographs while Spirit Squad members will be applying face tattoos. The athletics department tents will be located near the central campus stage.

Credits: 168,317 | Re: ISU Equipment Sale! Veishea Village is located mainly on central campus by the campanile but it is spread over in front of the library too. Also the engineering buildings have displays and there is a petting zoo over by the horse barn i believe. |

Hopefully there's a voucher system in place because the players will certainly need lids for the game on the 19th, and some guys I've talked to said that the new helmets aren't in yet and won't be for the spring game. |

Credits: 150,332 NFL: Packers MLB: Cubs | Re: ISU Equipment Sale! Did anyone go to the Athletic Department surplus/equipment sale on Saturday? There were probably 80-100 people in line by the time 12PM rolled around. I'm not sure how business was the rest of the afternoon, though.
I would have liked a football helmet, but couldn't justify spending $250 for a used helmet. Oops, I mean, "game worn" football helmet.
I walked back through the tent about 3:30PM and it looked like they either had not sold very many helmets, or they had restocked them. I did pick up a mini-helmet for $20, so I didn't walk away empty handed.
