Friday debate: which team returns to the postseason first?

Basketball team returns in 09-10, football gets to a bowl in 09-10. So technically I have Chizik getting to one earlier on the calender. I feel like McDermott's boys will be improved next year and will win 17-18 games but that doesn't guarentee an NIT birth by any means.

Sorry to disagree, but I'm thinking that with good health, both teams make it to the postseason this fall/spring. Floyd said that Mac would do better when he had "his" players...well, next season he'll have his players.

I'll be the homer...I think both do next season. So technically football but MBB goes to the post season next season as well.

That's my thought as well.......I think both will either be this year or the following year.

I've been chugging the Chizik Kool-Aid lately so I'm going with football. I think we make a bowl game this year!

I am going with B-ball all the way. With all the recruits we bringing in and all the other Big 12 teams losing a lot of their best players either to graduation or the draft, I see us overall being at (possibly over) .500. Also, with the addition of the CBI tourney, a BCS league school has an awesome shot at getting to the post season. Virginia was invited this year with a 15-15 record and Cincinnati got in with a 13-18 record!!!!

I hope we do better than 13-18 next year!
