I think a lot of it depends on if we lose any more off of the MBB team this off-season. If no more leave, I'd say neither next year, both the following year.

Basketball team returns in 09-10, football gets to a bowl in 09-10. So technically I have Chizik getting to one earlier on the calender. I feel like McDermott's boys will be improved next year and will win 17-18 games but that doesn't guarentee an NIT birth by any means.

I'll be the homer...I think both do next season. So technically football but MBB goes to the post season next season as well.

I'd be a happy cyclone if the football team wins 6 and the MBB makes the NIT.

I'd also like to see the wrestling team beat Iowa and the WBB get to the sweet 16 with their starters all returning.

Agree.

Here's to a great 2008 for ISU.

- FB makes a bowl game with 6 or 7 wins.
- ISU VB continues to be ranked and makes a nice run in the NCAA
- MBB returns to post-season in the NIT
- WBB is ranked all year, competes for conference, and has a nice NCAA run
- Wrestling wins both Big 12 and National Championship

Football gets it done first.

Football is not going to a bowl game this year, let's be realistic. If they do I'll be thrilled.

Basketball has the better chance but I would not hold my breath until we see how the roster shapes up.
