Re: Memorabilia
My favorite thing would probably be my John Holliday Iowa State print poster (think "Where's Waldo" in terms of design) that my sister bought for my birthday many years ago. Unfortunately the guy is a total Hawkeye homer, but he did make a pretty sweet ISU poster...

Re: Memorabilia
i have alot of signed tshirts..
but i would have to say my favorite
my Ellis Hobbs signed Photo.. i got it when he was at Toyota before the NFL Draft..
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -

I have a never-folded Cael Sanderson Wheaties box, autographed. General Mills set up a booth at the engineering career fair and anyone who dropped off a resume got a flat box. I think they had Cael in signing them for an hour or so.

Re: Memorabilia
I have a number of autographed pictures and posters. My favorite is from back in 1995 when Fred Hoiberg was the feature of the Inside College Basketball section in Sports Illustrated (article titled "Meet the Mayor" with a picture). My brother who was at ISU at the time helped get this signed for me. I was still in high school. I have it framed and hanging right next to me actually. I later got more Hoiberg autographs in person but the SI one is my fav.
Second favorite is one of the Cael autographs I have. This one specifically is after he won the Gold. He signed it to me, Go Cyclones, Cael Sanderson Olympic Champion.

I think they had Cael in signing them for an hour or so. I was at that career fair. They were running low and the line was extremely long. Needless to say I didn't get one and I had to settle for a box filled with Wheaties...

Re: Memorabilia
I would have to say my ticket stub from the 2002 football game at Iowa. What a bunch of poor losers the hawkeye fans were that day. It was so worth wearing the 15 to 20 or so glasses of pop, beer, etc that was thrown our way.

Re: Memorabilia
I have a signed Seneca jersey, but my favorite isn't technically mine (yet)......a piece of the lane from the flood of '93, signed by Fred Hoiberg and Johnny Orr. -
Re: Memorabilia
Piece of floor from Hilton from flood as well ( see above poster).......called ISU and they donated it to a charity auction I was helping organize. I was high bidder on the item. Mine is not signed however Gladly accept the gifts of the present hour.

Re: Memorabilia
I forgot to qualify my above comment........the reason it's not mine yet....the owner of my company bought it at a charity golf event, and promptly brought it into my office. At first it was mine to display, but I have a feeling that it's becoming mine to keep. -
Re: Memorabilia
A tie between;
1.) Signed Troy Davis jersey
2.) Hilton Magic (8'x3') banner that has a picture of Texas' Boddicker missing his second free throw with 1.8 seconds left as Iowa State wins. The reason I like it so much is because I'm pictured in the front row in mid jump waving my arms.
