Re: Which ISU program will be most exciting
the most excitment would have to be our wrestling program, winning the big 12 again and only coming 6 seconds from taking 2nd at Natoinals is a pretty good feat. Hopefully we can continue the success next year. As for football and basketball, i don't feel they are going to bring the excitment or the opportunity as our wrestling program will. We are young, but it would be nice to see improvements from last year in both sports.

Re: Which ISU program will be most exciting
i wish i was going to be around to watch all this because i think this could be a awesome year for all sports, but i honestly went with WBB and here is why
i dont follow Wrestling that much..
and of MBB and FB we are just hoping and expecting..
with WBB we know they are good and we know everyone is coming back, and we know we are going to be competing in the top of the big 12, and there is a good chance that they will be back in the big dance..
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -
Re: Which ISU program will be most exciting
Tough question...
Football is best environment and most fun to follow
MBB has the most to gain
Wrestling has the biggest chance to achieve nationally
WBB will be the best TEAM

Re: Which ISU program will be most exciting
Nothing beats a college football Saturday so I went with football. Men's hoops are a very close second but it's tough right now to get real excited. I think at this time next year McDermott will have us very excited for the program for the first time in a few years.

Frankly, we have not advanced in the last two years with a losing record. Frankly we did not advance in football last year with 3 wins. Frankly, Twister Sisters advanced. Frankly, we slipped in wrrstling last year compared to the previous year. Frankly, we advanced in hockey. This message is dedicated to all Franks. Friends
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Which ISU program will be most exciting
MBB, because I'm excited with all of the new recruits and I love HILTON!
FB, a close second bc i simply love college football season and tailgating.
Wrestling third, bc i really don't pay very close attention until nationals, and we are so close to getting a NC.
WBB fourth, bc I don't pay much attention until post season, but they have a good shot at making a good run in the tourny next year.

Re: Which ISU program will be most exciting
Men's hockey... Top 10 finish at Nationals last year with 0 seniors and 3 juniors... that sounds like a team to beat next year!
As for the other Cyclone teams. I'm excited about all of them. Twisted sisters didn't lose many players this year, wrestling will be strong, and the start of something good for both football and basketball.
I told my family that I would come back to the states when the Cyclones started winning... well, I'm coming back to Iowa, so they are going to start winning. Should be a good year, look forward to meeting all of you at some tailgates next year.

Definitely football for me....nothing beats the Saturday afternoon football atmosphere, tailgating with friends.
