Of course not - He was homeschooled he therefore (according to stereotypes) has no social skills at all, is some sort of religous whack job, has been way oversheltered by his parents, will underperform in all work environments, and is destined to fail or destined to freak out and go postal at some point when he is finally allowed to be around normal people.

I actually know, or knew?, him... he was in my freshman honors group 4 years ago. It was different but not a big deal. I didn't keep in touch with anyone in my honors group though.
And I thought I was doing good making it out with a BS in engineering in 4 years including a spring/summer coop completed.

Glad to see a 14 year old kept scholarships away from other college aged kids. And how the heck does a college accept you without a GED or high school diploma?

There is no requirement of having a high school diploma or GED to enroll in college. You just have to have the appropriate test scores and be accepted. (Although for most of us lowly mortals that means getting the high school diploma first!)

What does age have to do with it? He met the requirements for a scholarship and was awarded one. Looks to me like he made pretty good use of his scholarship...
