No. Most Ag. engineers were pretty pumped about it as well, because when they decided to chop off the back end of Davidson and fund the Chem building, that gave the Ag Eng. the go ahead to get their new building going (amazing....even after burning the first one, waiting 100 yrs, all it took was a new chem building to get it rolling )

Is this about my $25 donation to the ISU Alumni Association. That was supposed to be anonymous. Since the words out, "you're welcome."

I said on like Page 2 that I didn't think it would be announced around this time because it was such a dead time of the college athletic season. I wouldn't be surprised if this news is held off until the beginning of August. The new fiscal year just makes it possible to report it now.

Board of Regents meet on August 6/7- 4 weeks away. Work for Hach is already under way, however, they are technically tearing down IED1 now so it might be a ground breaking for Hach. Maybe it is just a big donation that will bring us closer to the goal. Six weeks from now is an odd time to make an announcement.

That should make the post pop up for at least another month. If the 'good news' is coming the first week of August, it could be that they will be seeking final approval from the Regents. Also, FP&M has never updated their website, it still says phase 2 will be completed by August 09.

Credits: 57,285 NFL: Chiefs MLB: Royals | I'm sure there's more to it than this..... | Chizik: "One thing that I’d encourage our fans… I want them to be the loudest stadium in the Big 12. I don’t care… I want Jack Trice stadium to be the loudest in the Big 12 and I think that creates homefield advantage.... I want to stress to everyone…I want this place to be juiced up. They bought 36,000 season tickets so there is a passion there…don’t hide it… let it out. I want there to be a passion in the stadium."

I fear that if this announcement doesn't result in a double deck endzone for next season, Bobcats may be run out of town by a bunch of Cyclone Fanatics with torches and pitch forks.
