On the sporcle.com game where you name the college mascots, Iowa State was recognized as the Cyclones 66.4% of the time. That puts us near the bottom, but close to a lot of other (I thought) well-known teams. Iowa is at 76.9%, and all of the Tigers teams are the best at 94%. Just thought it was interesting. Presumably only fairly serious NCAA fans would take the quiz, and a lot probably give up before finishing (including me on the last couple I couldn't get off the top of my head).

I got them all in 5:08. I wish they had one for all of D1 basketball. That would be a challenge.

3 minutes and 12 seconds. It took me a little bit to remember Depaul.

I burned through the whole thing in about 3 minutes... except Marquette, which I stared at... and finally remembered with 0:06 left. Whew!!

That was a little challenging. For the life of me I could not remember Razorbacks.

One thing I realized from this is how little I care about the Big East... |

3:25. I knew them all on the first shot, I'm just not used to typing on my new laptop, so I botched some spelling by hitting keys I didn't mean to.

I will spend some time just entering cyclones and none of the rest and see if I can at least get us out of 12th place for the big 12. OSU and CU are very close.

I think it is misleading, because since there are multiple tigers and wildcats, some of those teams may not be known by all, but if the name is entered once, it gets filled in all of them, so the stats are a bit misleading.
