So I came across something I have not seen before today. It was a Beer can. It was called Iowa state Beer and had a buff looking cy on one side, and Iowa state Beer on the other. Anyone ever seen one before? I don't have pictures now but I will post some tomorrow
|
When asked about the ISU @ Iowa game: Iowa wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos said. "This has to be the most important game of the year. We've got to treat it like we're playing for a Big Ten championship."

I have one of these beer cans. I was passed down from my dad.
I think we need to petition Olde Main to produce a batch for the 2008 tailgating season.
Key points to success:
1) Refreshing and chuggable for maximum tailgating enjoyment.
2) Old-skool can with pull tab opening system. (make sure to throw used pull tabs in to sand at beach)
3) Maintain color-scheme with Cy sporting new I-State logo.

You'll never get it approved with the licensing department at Iowa State.

My uncle, a hawk fan, has all these cans. He has the hawkeye cans and cyclone cans. At the bottom, they say something like "not endorsed by Iowa State University". Today, they would get sued for producing beer that had ISU or Iowa on the can. They were produced by Dubuque Star Brewery. If you are ever in Dubuque, the old brewery down by the river is now probably the best restaurant in town. They also have a nice bar there. On the lower level, they have a mini museum and you can see the ISU and Iowa cans on display.

Hey 1100011CS - Can you hook us up with a picture of this "nasty" looking Cy? | “My expectation of Iowa State is that we should be able to win games against great football teams. If I expected anything less, I wouldn’t be here, and they shouldn’t be playing for me.” — Gene Chizik |

My dad's got an ISU and a EIU one in his garage.

And I, Bruno, will dive 1,000 feet into a block of cement. On my head, yet!

My uncle's can still are unopened and the beer hasn't been drained. Each holiday party he hosts, someone starts talking about drinking one on a dare. I suspect it would cause instant vomiting.
