And that plate my friends pretty much sums up Hawkeye Nation for me.....

I agree. I've seen plates for both schools taking shots at the other. It's rather curious.

Was this on a very large black or yellow pickup truck that is 10 feet off the ground, equipped with bullwhips, mudflaps and a vinyl prosthetic scrotum attached to the trailer hitch?

That reminds me of one of my tailgating buds (who's CF identity shall be protected) that talked about personalized plates back in the day. He wanted them to convey "F'n Cy Fan" as "fncyfan." Of course, we immediately read that as "Fancy Fan." Took a long time for him to live that down

Re: Be careful when choosing personalized plates

Someone I work with (in Iowa City) has ISU plates that say SARCASM. I always wanted to put a note on the car thanking them for donating to ISU.

There is an idiot Hawk in Waukee that drives a truck with plates "15nRow" I think he lives in the past!

And as crummy as this one felt, Cyclone fans, it could be a lot worse. You could be a Hawkeye. - Sean Keeler (imagine that, actually quoting Keeler!)

Re: Be careful when choosing personalized plates

What is the site that you can go type in what you would like and it shows you what it would look like on the plate? I know it has been discussed on here but I don't want to spend mucho time looking for it.

Question for the day: Can I still make season tickets work for FB and MBB if I move to Canada?

I thought sarcastically buying ISU plates was the worst one until I read your post. Yeesh, that was a decade ago, buddy.

Maybe he's referring to:

The number of family members he has in prison
How far he can count
The size of his corn planter
How many times he spelled his name right

It's like having Cubbie plates (if such a thing exists) that say "3PEAT."

Sure it happened, but it was 100 years ago.

Now I want to cry.

Looks fine to me. HawkChlamydia certainly wouldn't fit.

I just saw that plate Monday while pulling out of the parking garage (black Ford truck) and took a picture of it on my phone. God I wish I had a way to post it up. I chuckled too.

Re: Be careful when choosing personalized plates

At first I thought "Hawk Stud" but the Hawk STD is more fitting. There are rumors, or were when I was at ISU, that some dorm on campus at EIU had an extremely high STD rate...one of the tops in the country. Of course, these were rumors...any takes?
