Hok fans vandalize artwork on ISU campus

FYI -Illinois fans sprayed round up on Iowa's football field the weekend of their game, not ISU fans.

We feed the Hawkeye fans a lot of cheese when they visit Madison, Wisconsin, and they get so constipated they are full of ****. Even more than usual.

Reasons that you could rule out hawk fans:
1. If they actually knew multiple starters' names for FB and BB and wrote it on the statue.
2. If any slam on ISU on the statue did not include the word "Cyclowns" or references to McDonalds or Moo U/Agriculture.
3. If they spelled anything, including "hawkeyes" correctly.
4. If it was done on campus since most hawk fans consider the ISU campus to be Jack Trice, Hilton, Scheman and CY Stephens.

Reasons that would lead you to believe hawk fans really did it:
1. Too dumb to know that they were doing major damage.
2. They put stolen DVDs or prescription drugs in the statues' hands.
3. Included in the vandalism was the phone number of Alfredo Parish.
4. Because hawks have been known to have their way with defenseless objects.

No prob, I wasn't necessarily singling your post out negatively. I think if they were going to do "permanent" damage, they would have used spraypaint or something.

IIRC, this isn't the first time this sculpture has been vandalized. I think it was just a few years ago that somebody took a marker and drew on it. I think they put nipples on the girls or something like that. It took months to restore it after that. This is just stupid.

EDIT: Never mind--I just loaded the image in a separate window. Here it is...

Again...stupid.

I guess it's time to locate some video cameras aimed at these priceless works of art so that people can enjoy them over the Internet, and it can be recorded to identify any future perpetrators.

These same statues were defaced once before when I was at ISU (98-02) where someone drew on them with permanent marker and put nipples on the breasts and other crude drawings. They had to cover them up till they could get them cleaned.
